Structure & Key Dates

The REach® Program is 9-month long and is composed of intensive educational seminars, extensive mentorship, access to a defined customer base and exposure to NAR’s 1M+ REALTORS®


  • Location:  Semi-virtual**
    For those companies that wish to take advantage of workspace and colocation with other REach® companies, there will be space provided in downtown Chicago, however, there is no requirement for companies to move. 
  • Events:  we do expect all founders, regardless where the company resides, to be physically present for the intensive education seminars, strategic planning sessions and recommended industry events. Founders should expect to be onsite at REach® or to be attending other industry events approximately one week per month through the duration of the program.
  • Insight Panel – dedicated time and captivated market to test your products and promotions
  • Portfolio Meetings: REach® companies will have the opportunity to attend meetings and interact with the NAR family of Investments


Key Dates:

  • March/April 2016: Program Kick-Off, Chicago, IL

  • May 2016: NAR Midyear Convention,  Washington DC (~10,000 attendees)

  • June 2016: Industry Event, Location TBD

  • July 2016: Second Century Ventures Portfolio Summit, Location TBD 

  • August 2016: Inman News Real Estate Connect, San Francisco, CA
  • September 2016: Industry Event, Location TBD

  • October 2016: Multiple Industry Events / NAR Annual Prep, Location TBD (both commercial and residential).  Examples include CCIM, SIOR, IREM, and CRE Tech Intersect

  • November 2016 - NAR’s Annual Convention, Orlando, FL (~25,000 attendees)

Post-NAR REach®

We hope that NAR REach® alums conclude the program by entering into a long-term partnership with SCV or NAR but regardless, the benefits of the program are evergreen; as an alum you’ll always have access to the NAR REach® Accelerator team, the other REach® Accelerator participants and the relationships you have cultivated along the way.


* Note that companies will be accepted on a rolling basis – the earlier you apply the stronger the chance you have for being accepted.

**You are not required to co-locate to be part of the NAR REach® Accelerator program however, for those teams that have the flexibility to do so, it is highly suggested.  Those that do take advantage of being onsite for the duration of the program will have the ability to more easily take advantage of NAR’s resources as well as have the advantage of learning from one another. We will offer you and your teams workspace free of charge in or near NAR’s headquarters. 

For those teams that have less flexibility, we do expect that the founders will be present for key events throughout the program.
