Terry Dwyer was appointed senior vice president and chief information officer of the Long & Foster Companies in January 2015. He is responsible for overseeing all technology services for Long & Foster and its offices throughout its seven-state region and the District of Columbia. Dwyer joined Long & Foster with over 30 years of experience in information technology, including 18 years in the real estate industry.
Before joining Long & Foster, Dwyer operated his own information technology consulting firm, Dwyer & Associates, where he assisted clients in information technology planning, organization transformation and governance. Prior to that, Dwyer served as chief information officer of Realogy Corporation, a global provider of real estate and relocation services, from 2006 to 2013 and was responsible for the executive leadership and oversight of all information technology activities at Realogy and its business units. He also previously served as the chief information officer at NRT, a subsidiary of Realogy that owns and operates hundreds of residential real estate offices nationwide.
Dwyer received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida. In addition to working in information technology in the real estate industry, Dwyer has served as an advisory board member mentoring technology startup firms with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) REach initiative, and he has served as a member of NAR’s Data Privacy & Security Committee.
