Richard P. Nespola, Jr.
Rich Nespola, Jr. is the Founding Partner of Working Lab Capital, LLC (WLC) - a Washington, DC based platform investment, incubation and holding company. The entity invests directly into emerging technology companies, executes opportunistic private equity transactions and allocates capital to internal initiatives to build businesses from the ground up, pursuing ideas that fit the firm's proprietary "Fundamental Needs" framework. Prior to WLC, Rich was responsible for directing the product development strategy, global direct sales operations, financial due diligence and analytics practices of Liquidity Services Inc. He started his career as a lead consultant at Groundswell.net, a boutique technology strategy consultancy, working with start-ups and large corporate clients on technology transformation initiatives. He is an investing Partner in Quimby Ventures, LLC, where co-leads his family's single family office investment strategy. Rich is also on the BOD of InSITE Fellows, a national venture capital fellowship program, and is the alumni sponsor for InSITE DC at Georgetown University. Rich is a Trustee of the Nespola Family Foundation where he co-leads philanthropic giving initiatives. He holds an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
