A seasoned start up executive, Ken’s passion is driven by the intersection of technology and its impact on marketing and sales. He has a strong track record of developing innovative go-to-market strategies and building key strategic relationships to accelerate business growth. Most recently, Ken served as the Vice President of Business Development for Axcient, a leading provider of Recovery-as-a-Service, where he established key resale relationships and led the company’s first corporate acquisition. Prior to Axcient, Ken ran worldwide sales and business development for systems management leader, KACE Networks. During his tenure at KACE, he established a strategic partnership with Dell, which led to KACE’s acquisition by Dell in 2010. Following the acquisition, Ken led the KACE sales team at Dell, expanding KACE’s global footprint and growing the business to more than $100 million in annual revenue.
Ken also served as VP of Marketing and Business Development at Oblix, an Identity Management pioneer that was acquired by Oracle in 2005. Earlier in his career Ken worked in leadership positions at both start-ups and larger companies. He spent 9 years at Silicon Graphics where he held a variety of sales and sales management positions and played a leading role in the development of the company’s entertainment vertical.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business-Economics and Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Business School.
