Josh has worked with the California Association of REALTORS® (C.A.R.) for the last twenty-five years, first as a consultant; later, as an outside board member of the association's Real Estate Business Services (REBS) subsidiary; and now, as the association's chief technology officer.
Prior to joining C.A.R. full-time, Josh led product development for a variety of privately held and public companies, including Legal Research Network Digital Lava, ParcPlace-Digitalk, Dassault Systemes USA, CADAM Inc. and the CAM Center at the Hughes Aircraft Company. Josh also has served as an adjunct professor of engineering at the University of Southern California.
He holds four system and method patents for software inventions and has many more in the pipeline at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He provides expert testimony for software patent and copyright infringement matters. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from UCLA, a master's degree in engineering management from USC and a Ph.D. in business from Capella. He and his family live in Southern California.
